（2） Application of Ceramic Fiber Board on the Shell of Aluminum Melting Furnace
Aluminum melting furnace is a new type of high-efficiency and energy-saving furnace developed based on the aluminum melting process. It can well meet the requirements of high alloy composition requirements, discontinuous production, and large single furnace capacity in the aluminum melting process. It is suitable for intermittent operation with a large amount of alloy and return furnace materials.
Aluminum melting furnaces are commonly used in the aluminum product casting, processing and forging industry.
The furnace temperature of an aluminum melting furnace is generally between 950 and 1100 ℃. The temperature of molten aluminum varies depending on the melting of different types of aluminum, with temperatures ranging from 730 ℃ to 860 ℃.
A half ton gas type aluminum melting furnace takes about 2-3 hours to melt, and consumes 50-60 cubic meters of gas.
Ceramic fiber board is mainly used on the shell of aluminum melting furnaces, playing a role in insulation, energy conservation, and consumption reduction. Generally, it does not directly come into contact with aluminum water. The refractory material for the working layer of the aluminum melting furnace is generally non stick aluminum casting material.
